Join the AGCOK as we give back and help the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Volunteers like you are essential to the vision of an Oklahoma so no one goes hungry. Through this on-site volunteer experience, volunteers like you sort, pack and prepare food for a variety of Regional Food Bank Programs. Activities may include: Assembling sacks of nutritious food for the Food for Kids Backpack Program, Packing Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes full of food for seniors living on fixed incomes, Sorting and packing bread, produce, package meals and/or cans, Tagging bags and Cleaning. This is a FREE event and each volunteer will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Registration is required! GENERAL VOLUNTEER INFORMATION -To ensure the safety of all volunteers and our staff, face coverings are required for all individuals in the Volunteer Center. Face coverings must cover both the mouth and nose and be worn at all times. Social distancing practices remain in place. -You must be at least 12 years old to volunteer. -Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. -Volunteers under 18 must bring a signed Parental Consent Form. -Please wear close-toe shoes! For safety reasons, you cannot volunteer in open-toe shoes. -Please do not wear loose, revealing or offensive clothing. -Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift is scheduled to begin. -As a reminder, volunteers will enter through the Volunteer Center entrance, not the main entrance. Please look for the double doors toward the north end of the building with the Volunteer Center sign on the building.
